LCCSA President and BSB Partner Jonathan Black in accepting the award alongside Paul Harris and CLSA’s Bill Waddington and Robin Murray said,
” This award is received on behalf of a team of professionals who volunteer themselves to sacrifice hours for protecting what is right. This isn’t about protecting their businesses but ensuring that their current and future clients have access to the correct level of legal advice. They do so without pay or acknowledgement, often whilst working long gruelling hours and usually up against 9-5 civil servants, notoriously highly paid to ignore our concerns. Special thanks to my predecessors Nicola Hill and Akhtar Ahmad and the 95% of the 1700 who voted in the ballot to finally take action against the same contempt that Mr Gove showed www.lapg.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Post-awards-press-release-for-website.pdf
